Are you seriously considering becoming a Team Beachbody Coach but are looking for more answers to your questions? I meet many people who are interested in the coaching opportunity but have concerns about specific aspects before doing so. These concerns come up often so this post is about clearing them up so that maybe you will be better able to take action and “Bring it!!!” as a new Team Beachbody Coach.
Myth #1 – I Have to Be in Great Shape: Not true! When I started I was 35 pounds over weight! Do you know why being out of shape and over weight can actually be an advantage? The reason is because you will understand exactly what someone else in your same situation is dealing with. You will be using the Beachbody® programs and getting results. You will be better equipped to coach someone else through the same process of getting back into shape.
Myth #2 – I Need to Be a Fitness Guru: Becoming a Team Beachbody Coach doesn’t require any type of fitness credentials. Beachbody takes care of the fitness and nutrition. The in-home fitness programs come complete with guides covering both the workouts and nutrition. The Team Beachbody Club provides access to support forums, videos, nutrition information, exercise information, personal trainers, and more. As a coach you will help match the fitness programs and products to the fitness goals of those you coach as well support and motivate your coaches and customers.
Myth #3 – It Will Require Too Much Time: Yes, you will need to devote some time to your business but you schedule that time. You are not bound by a set schedule. Working your business should be a fun activity because you have the desire to help people discover a love for fitness. When you are doing what you love, it won’t feel like work. I am always happy to help my buddies in WOWY and I enjoy helping people find a way to start exercising again by introducing them to the various programs. It is time well spent and it is very rewarding.
